Clockwork/Wind-up powered vape?

I'm toying with the idea of building a very different kind of vape. Something that uses clockwork as its power source. Wind it up like a toy, and the spring and gears will create heat to vape your herbs.

My initial concern would be the basic physics. Can you put enough power into a wind-up mechanism to create the heat needed?

I'm imagining using a very small stainless steel bowl and using something to heat it up via friction but I'm having trouble figuring out what.

DIY Peace Style Vape

I really like the design of the Peace vape by triihouse, but in their absence I couldn't buy one.

So I made my own.

It's just some zebrawood with a 1/2" hole going all the way through, and an underdog glass stem with two screens pinching the herb. The glass is very snug in the wood, probably a bit too snug.

I won't be trying it till tonight but I'm happy with how it looks at...

Warm Pine Homemade Log Vaporizer

This is a homemade vaporizer I made from a piece of pine. Works very well from what I have tested of it.

I see a Grasshopper Modification thread in our future, so I figured beat the mods to it, and start one. :)

I know, why modify a great device with a lifetime warranty? Why not?

Who is going to be the first to cut the back end off the hopper and fit up 510 threads?

I really wonder if the stainless heater would work in the new stainless wire mode on these tc device?

I have also thought about wireing it for some desktop power? Yes, a one inch face melter. Lol

Homemade all glass halogen

My newest idea. It is incredibly simple, easy to make, and it works. Jerb in the center being heated by the $20-odd 250-watt halogen work light from a home improvement store with an inline halogen dimmer switch that i added to the cord. Hey guys, I hope this is the right place for a question like this but I was hoping to get a few pointers.

I have a Joyetech Evic Mini
Uwell Crown Tank + RBA

I have no problem making the coils and everything but my real problem is that I have this weird cotton taste on almost every pull. This was my second try I wish I could show you a pic but i cant get my cell to focus that small.

I run at about 0.75 ohm
I haven't had any problems with the actual coils

I thought i would start this thread to show you how i go about fixing broken Cloud bamboos!
I did not take too many photo's for this one because i was not sure if it would work!
I think i will be fixing a few more units for members along the way!

The first one i fixed for @olivianewtonjohn
It arrived with the top portion of the bamboo cleanly broken off at the level of the heater.
Luckily the heater still worked!

A Quick DIY Dome Screen Press

Needed parts:

-Plastic bottle Cap
-J-B Quick Weld
-Dome shaped end for pressing (Marker cap, lip stick lid, or in my case a container I had from an old atomizer)

put this together, 14mm J hook (tried 18 screen was harder to place and needed more stirring.) a basket screen 14 m-m and a hammer 14mm female gong.

I suffer from some aggressive rheumatological disease which causes joint pain and inflammation. I've been managing my pain with cannabis for the last year. I play bass and vaporize with an mflb. I play for long periods of time with bands and when I practice, and find it inconvenient to have to stop playing to vape every 10 minutes (I keep a very light buzz to keep my head as clear as possible when playing)

DIY Arduino based temperature controlled desktop vaporizer

Using a 16x2 LCD display, K-Type thermister, Arduino, a relay, and some buttons, the project was completed. The chamber used to heat the herbs is from a broken puffit vaporizer.

So I've been thinking a lot about the Lily and how it works, and the Supreme and how it works. I have a lot of interest in the Supreme, and I am held back only because I drop things when I'm stoned. The supreme is a vape that consists of torching an aluminum cube with attached thermometer until it reaches the desired temp, and then you inhale. Everyone who owns one adores it, and some think it is the hardest hitting vape they have ever used.
